Some News

If you like Japanese or Korean music, I found a fairly new site for you to check out: XAM FM. Don’t bother registering; nothing worthwhile being a member.

Winsen is planning on moving over to the mainland -not China. He’s got some interviews to do then he may be crashing at my house as soon as October.

I’ve been incredibly busy recently. My next day off might be Aug. 5th, assuming work doesn’t need me; the manpower is only created a week in advance. I’m trying to work as much as possible so that I can cover some of the additional costs, such as the part-time medical office assistant courses that I’ll be taking this Fall.

Check out this product if you’ve been looking for a cheap HTPC: Popcorn Hour. It’s on sale until July 28th. I would buy this but our TV sucks balls. I might as well watch movies on my monitor.

New Place

Finally, we’ve moved in.

After three years of living in a suite facing the sun, we’ve finally got a place in the shade, covered by the trees. The sun would make our place so hot that we had to buy an air conditioner to sleep. The other option was placing ice packs on various parts of the bed so that we could roll onto cooler spots when ours’ got too hot. The heat was also a factor in one of my video cards over heating too. I didn’t realize how much money the heat really cost us.

Anyway, aside from a few problems, like the bathroom door not being able to close or our kitchen faucet being able to pour water onto our carpet, our place is beautiful. We pretty much go new everything: appliances, bathtub, paint, cabinets, carpet, lightning fixtures, electrical sockets and so on.

Supposedly, the last tenant trashed the place. I also believe that this suite got flooded, but I haven’t asked anyone about that yet.

That’s how the girls (Michelle & Jane) improvise -hahhahahaha.

Aside from all the bonuses of this place and the fact that this is my new home, I feel home sick; well, I did a week ago. Thankfully, it has passed, because feeling home sick is definitely depressing.

Here are more pics of the place. I will post more once we finish unpacking.
